The immortal specie of jellyfish

Immortality has always been a term that humans were interested in. From inventing religions to live forever in heaven to searching through space to find some weird anomalies. But as it turns out the answer for immortality might be closer.

In the  early 90s scientists discovered that turritopsis dohrnii a really small type of jellyfish which originated from Mediterranean Sea but now can be found in all around the world’s tropical waters can be immortal. This animal can reverse its life cycle when it comes to end. Its cells are getting younger and it is changing into polyp the earliest stage of jellyfish’s development.

It isn’t said that some turritopsis dohrnii will live forever but it is possible if nothings eats it or other unpredictable conditions happen. But who knows maybe the research on this jellyfish will show scientists how to make humans immortal.

Why do humpback whales breach?

A lot of species of whales breach. But the most well known for this weird behaviour is humpback whale. They can jump out of the water for over 12 meters, they do it by using theirs 5 meters long muscle called peduncle which is connecting theirs really strong tail with the rest of the body.          For decades, the phenomenon of humpback whales breaching has captivated the attention of scientists to this day we cannot be one hundred percent sure that we know the reason behind theirs amazing habit. But many researchers have given us many hypothesis that sound like that they are close to truth.     1. To mark their their territory. By creating big splashes whales can give a massage to others that the area is occupied.     2. To communicate with others whales. Sound travels a lot further under whater, so a big splash created by a humpback can alert other whales in a very long distance. ...

The smartest marine animal.

What is the smartest creature in the ocean? The most intelligent sea animal is bottlenose dolphin which is commonly seen in warm open waters. They are not just cute and playful but actually really smart.   Their brains are big and complex, making up around 0.9% of their body weight, and packed with clever neuron clusters for self-awareness, decision-making, and solving problems. What's really cool is their social language, using clicks and whistles to team up for hunting. Remembering stuff is easy for them– they can recall other dolphins' calls even after 20 years and find food spots from way back. Dolphins    even use tools like sponges for protection while hunting. Compassion isn't lost on them either; they take care of the injured, sick, and old members of their gang and even mourn their fallen friends.  That’s what makes dolphins the most intelligent specie in the ocean. Facts about Orcas

The ocean is a vault full of fascinating creatures one of them is orca. A really unique massive predator that has some secrets that are not obvious.  1. Orcas aren’t whales            Because of their size and because they are also called “killer whales “ people might consider them as whales. But they are dolphins, they belong to dolphins’ family. 2. Every killer whale’s group has an own language.             Each pod speaks different dialect. The sounds that they make are so unique that scientists can identify the group just by listening to them. Which leads researchers to think that the language is transmitted socially rather than known innately. 3. Orcas are smart.             Killer whales are known as one of the most intelligent animals in the world. Their brain is the second largest after sperm whale. They show really complex social skills, interesting hunting behaviour and they even pla...
